About IOTLS
Nearly all solicitors practising in Thanet are members of the Isle of Thanet Law Society, which encourages good practice amongst its members. Regular meetings between the society’s litigation sub-committee and the local county court are designed to produce a harmonious working relationship for the better administration of justice. The agreement of standard procedures between local conveyancing solicitors ensure that transactions are dealt with as expeditiously as possible so as to facilitate the smoothest possible completion of matters for the benefit of clients.
The society meets three times a year to exchange ideas and best working practice for the benefit of its members and clients alike. Continuing education courses are organized from time to time and the society’s sub-committees meet from time to time to deal with the more detailed of the society’s business.
